Christ Embassy Launches Reachout Nigeria Project 2015.

The Believers Love World, Christ Embassy, has again proven to be on top of her game in the church ministry in Nigeria with the launch of the church’s annual Reachout Nigeria Campaigns across all her branches around the country aimed at celebrating Nigeria and Nigerians during the October 1st Independence Celebrations.

A branch of the church, Christ Embassy LCC6, Lagos, was agog recently as the launch took place to usher in preparations aimed at seeing a seamless event spreading over a period of three months culminating on the 1st of October to celebrate, impact, educate, inform and evangelize her immediate environment with words and messages to change their lives.

The Chairman of the Committee empowered to ensure the success of this year’s event, Deacon Gerald Ikem, in his speech to formally launch the project, stated clearly that the Reachout Nigeria Project is now a movement with one single goal of ‘‘Reaching the LOST’’.

In his words, ‘As a ministry, we have seized this special day as another opportunity to reach out to the lost through our messenger angel ‘Rhapsody Of Realities’, and at the same time promote a patriotic spirit in Nigerians’. Our aim is to transform this nation Nigeria by fostering hope and faith in the heart of Nigerians because, Nigeria is a beautiful country and this beloved country of ours is at the most crucial time of her history and we must perform our role as a church by contributing to ‘‘making ourselves at home here and work for the country’s welfare, praying for Nigeria’s well-being, for if things go well with Nigeria, things will go well with us’’ as stated in Jeremiah 29 vs 7.

Mr. Ikem went further to state that according to Rev. Chris Oyakhilome, the President of Believers World Nation, history has shown that policies, laws and wisdom of man have failed over time and that if we would love to see the changes we crave for, then we must realize that the change must have to start from the inside and then, transcend to each and every one of us, contributing his quota to making sure that information such as contained in the ‘Rhapsody Of Realities’ is made available to every citizen of this country, to help transform their minds, thereby building foundations firmly rooted on the word of God that makes the whole difference.

Barely two months ago, Mr. Ikem says, we had a peaceful election in Nigeria that put in place a new government that is faced with challenges on how to fix nation. It is our conviction as a church that the word of God saturates this nation through the ‘Rhapsody Of Realities’ which would help the new government with the requisite knowledge to enhance their capability to making sure that economic policies, legislative changes, fight against corruption and insurgency are won with simply the wisdom of God that passes all understanding.

The Reachout Nigeria Campaign was launched by Rev. Chris Oyakhilome eight years ago to disseminate the words of hope, knowledge and wisdom to Nigerians through the Rhapsody Of Realities, the daily devotional of the church and the launch of the project which took place in LCC6 was with funfair as there were various activities like ‘performances by artists, talk-show and presentations by the children’ to usher in the formal opening of this year’s event.
