This is really sad. Veteran Yoruba thespian, Idowu Philips popularly called Iya Rainbow in the entertainment industry is bereaved as you are reading this. Her daughter, Lola was certified dead early this morning, Friday, 15 at Tomade hospital, a private health facility tucked inside Ojodu area of Lagos if what is reported by News of the People a few minutes ago is anything to go by. A competent source informed that the lady identified as Lola was rushed to the hospital around 11.45pm by her husband identified as Osborne after a suspected complications from an ulcer illness and was proclaimed dead afterwards. The deceased was to travel to the US a day before this unfortunate incident happened. Her remain has been deposited at a morgue in Ikeja. Before filing this report, the husband and his family have been so confused and are yet to relate the ugly incident to the charismatic movie maker, who has dominated the industry for the past 50 years.
