Nigerian Doctor In Dublin Diagnoses Giant Boobs’ Growth In Woman

                                         

A woman in Dublin, Ireland, has been living with a giant bre*$t-sized tumour on her back for more than 10 years!

An unusual growth appeared on the right-hand side of her back a decade ago, and since then it reached 19cm in length and 6,7cm in width. Although the tumour did not cause any pain it had increased considerably in size over the last three years, compelling the unnamed woman to consult a doctor.

The impressive firm ma$$ appeared to be a lipoma, a benign tumour composed of fat cells. Dr Tunde Abdulsalam, who provided the case report, said: "It is unusual to let it grow that big. Most patients would have it removed sooner for cosmetic reasons.

"From my clinical experience, most lipomas are small in size and most patients frequently leave it alone because it is relatively stable for years and does not affect bodily function but in some cases, it can increase in size as a person’s BMI increases."

The woman is now waiting for the huge tumour to be weighed and removed with surgery. Lipomas are soft to the touch, usually movable, and generally painless. Many lipomas are small but can enlarge to sizes greater than six centimeters. They are commonly found in adults from 40-60 years of age, but can also be found in younger adults and children.

Popular on-air-personality, Toke Makinwa, since having challenges with her union with her fitness husband, Maje Ayida, has been having the best fun life has to offer as she keeps touring various countries at every opportunity.

Recently, the radio diva was in Maimi, USA, and while sharing her experience disclosed that she spent few of her time at a strip club which was rather different from the ones in Lagos.

Toke explained that she was so baffled at how women walked unclad at the club like, KOD. She advised travelers who plan to visit Miami, to have a stop at the KOD strip club to have a feel and nice relaxation there.

"I went to KOD yesterday; I have never seen that many naked women in a room. God, ass for days, I have never really been to a strip club, I mean, I have been to the ones in Lagos, but let’s just say that KOD is an experience. Like if you ever come out to Miami, that’s one of the things that you should do. Like I could not believe it, I had videos but I couldn’t post them because, ah, oh Lord, if my Pastor should find out that I was in a strip club, what am I going to say? Father please forgive me oh Lord, I just wanted to see the experience.

"Oh my Lord, ass shaking, it was crazy,i t was really taunt and from there we went to a club called ‘Eleven,’ another strip club but this club is 24hours. Oh my God, the party seen here is not absolutely like guys I can’t do this, this is where I just have to bow out because it was like 6:30 in the morning."

 

UNILAG First Class Student Electrocuted To Death

                                
Tragedy was let loose on Tuesday evening at the University of Lagos, UNILAG, Akoka, when a female student was electrocuted by a high tension cable.

It was said that the victim, identified as Oluchi Anekwe, a 300 level first class student of Accounting, was returning from her boyfriend’s place when the incident occurred.

According to an eyewitness account, late Oluchi was confirmed dead at the hospital, where she was rushed to by sympathisers.

"While Oluchi was walking with her boyfriend, there was a change of weather. This was followed by a strong wind, which shook the high tension pole that fell on her and electrocuted her. Her boyfriend stood motionless in shock," an eyewitness disclosed.

Meanwhile, the SUG of UNILAG has reacted to the incident.

In a statement issued its President and Speaker, Comrade Abiodun Martins and Rt. Jawosimi Olusegun respectively, the union expressed regrets over the unfortunate incident.

"Oluchi, till her death, was a first class student, and a very active student in class.

"Our condolence goes to her families, relatives and friends. We pray that God will grant them the fortitude to bear the loss," the statement said.

It was added in the statement that, "The event that led to her death is in its entirety avoidable. We hereby call on all concerned authorities to swing into action so as to prevent future occurrence."

"In this regard, we hereby declare that all academic and social activities of the school and of the students’ are hereby suspended for today and no unnecessary sound around the campus in honour of the lost soul.

The entire University of Lagos Students loved her, but God in His wisdom saw fit to embrace her.

We shall surely miss her. Oluchi, GOODNIGHT," said the statement.

Setting up a blog is relatively simple. However, sourcing for articles, news, photographs and other content to attract traffic to it is not a child’s play.

To achieve success in blogging, one may have to experience the risks facing journalists. For those doing copy-and-paste blogging, they may not understand what journalists face.

As blogging continues to gather steam, attention on the activities of bloggers will continue to rise. The popularity of online news portals is an invitation to others to jump on the train. But there is the need to understand what is required to build a respected and successful blog. While many give credit to the web for removing barriers to publishing, there is still a lot of education one needs to build a successful blog. There are also ethical sides of the job; while one also needs to consider the risks that come with information gathering.

All over the world, bloggers are also exposed to legal and risky factors of journalism. According to Public Radio International, Islamic fundamentalists have collated a list of 84 secular and atheist bloggers to be killed because they dared to oppose their views on Islam.

They have, so far, killed nine with many others already forced to close their blogs and social media accounts. In a number of countries, it is that serious. A popular Kenyan blogger who I met during WordCamp Kenya was arrested and docked for calling President Uhuru Kenyatta an "adolescent president".

Back in 2014, a former governor of Katsina State was reported to have ordered the detention of a student for criticising him on Facebook. One Wasiu Ogunnoiki was arraigned on September 2 for allegedly "engaging in acts capable of denting the image" of Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun, on Facebook. Also recently, Seun Oloketuyi, faced court charges for allegedly defaming the Chief Executive Officer of Fidelity Bank Plc, Nnamdi Okonkwo.

Blogging and social media posts have continued to earn people a lot of enemies. It is worth examining the common myths among many bloggers. To what extent are the myths true? Here are some of the myths:


You can be anyone on online
It is common to see people who think that they cannot be held responsible for a comment they post online. The cases of defamation as a result of content posted online have been on the rise. Once you are identified, you can be held responsible for what you share on online. It doesn’t matter if you copied it from another blogger, you can be held responsible.


Copy-and-paste is not plagiarising
Some of my articles are all over the Internet and this is largely due to cope-and-paste phenomenon. In 2008, I published a research document on consumer behaviour on social media through SlideShare. That document has been downloaded and used by many people without an attribution. When you copy and post articles and images without attribution, it is not cool and you may be sued.

When you are a small player, they may ignore you. But believe me they will come after once you start making money.

The best practice is to cull some parts and attribute to the source. Unless you notify the copyright owner and get permission, you are not allowed to take an entire article and use it. You may be helping the owners to advertise their work, but it is still not right.


You can use it since it is on Google search results
The common notion is that once you find an article, image or music on Google, you can use, share, tweet it as if it were originally created by you. This is not true. Google clearly says that users are responsible for what and how they use the information obtained from its platforms, including Google Search.

For images, the best practice is to source from websites with royalty-free images. One can also subscribe to websites with stock images. Also ensure you credit the source of the photograph you use. According to the International Copyright Convention, any creative work is copyrighted even when there is no notification on it.


Traffic is everything
In the quest for traffic, it is a common practice to look for information everywhere and anywhere. Businesses are already getting smart and are associating with bloggers that are concerned about building authority rather than traffic. Instead of looking for traffic, concentrate on creating quality content. Then, traffic will follow.

President Buhari Withdraws Diplomatic Passports From Ex Govs., Ministers, Senators, Others

                     
Muhammadu Buhari has instructed boss of Nigerian Immigration Service, Martin Abeshi to inform former Nigerian public office holders to immediately surrender official and diplomatic passports issued to them while they were in office. The action, officials say.

The categories of officials affected by the directive are former governors, former ministers, former senators, former members of the House of Representatives, and former members of state Houses of Assembly.

Others are former commissioners, for special advisers/special assistants, former chairmen/deputy chairmen of local government areas, all retired heads of parastatals and retired public servants.

"These categories of persons are hereby informed that these passports which were previously held by them have been revoked and should return them to the Nigeria Immigration Service Headquarters Sauka Abuja with immediate effect," the Comptroller-General of the Immigration Service, Martin Abeshi, said in a statement Monday. Failure to comply with this directive will amount to an offence under the Immigration Act 2015. Such unauthorized possession will be impounded at our control posts on arrival or departure."

The Federal Government had on August 24 directed the Immigration Service to retrieve all valid diplomatic and official passports from all persons not entitled to hold such documents.

"The attention of the Federal Government has been drawn to the fact that some Nigerians who are not entitled to hold diplomatic and official passports are in possession of these documents," a statement by Yusuf Isiaka,the Director of Press, Federal Ministry of Interior, said at the time.

According to the statement, the measure was intended to protect and promote Nigeria’s integrity in the comity of nations in addition to ensuring law and order.

Help!!! At 49, I am Sexually Active But No Longer "Get Wet"

Is there any doctor on your blog cos I really need help right now? I have never been a person to ever write to help pages but here we are.

I am a woman in my late 40’s, 49 to be precises and I am going through menopause, and this is the first time I have actually admitted it out loud.

My issue is that while I am still sexually active and I get aroused I no longer ‘get wet’.

My guy is great about it but I am frustrated, I used to be like a geyser now I can barely break a drizzle.

President Muhammadu Buhari, Osinbajo Declare Assets

                           
Publicity to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr Garba Shehu said "the documents submitted to the CCB, which officials say are still being vetted and will soon be made public, show that prior to being sworn in on May 29, President Buhari had less than N30 million to his name. He also had only one bank account, with the Union Bank. President Buhari had no foreign account, no factory and no enterprises. He also had no registered company and no oil wells", the statement said.

The statement further added that "the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo (SAN) who had been a successful lawyer before his foray into politics declared a bank balance of about N94 million and 900,000 United States Dollars in his bank accounts".

It added that President Buhari "had shares in Berger Paints, Union Bank and Skye Bank.

The documents also revealed that "President Buhari had a total of five homes, and two mud houses in Daura. He had two homes in Kaduna, one each in Kano, Daura and in Abuja. One of the mud houses in Daura was inherited from his late older sister, another from his late father. He borrowed money from the old Barclays Bank to build two of his homes.

"President Buhari also has two undeveloped plots of land, one in Kano and the other in Port Harcourt. He is still trying to trace the location of the Port Harcourt land.

"In addition to the homes in Daura, he has farms, an orchard and a ranch. The total number of his holdings in the farm include 270 heads of cattle, 25 sheep, five horses, a variety of birds and a number of economic trees".

The documents also showed that the retired General "uses a number of cars, two of which he bought from his savings and the others supplied to him by the federal government in his capacity as former Head of State. The rest were donated to him by well-wishers after his jeep was damaged in a Boko Haram bomb attack on his convoy in July 2014.

The same forms, according to Mr Shehu, notes that " Vice-President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo’s asset declaration include his 4-bedroom residence at Victoria Garden City, Lagos and a 3-bedroom flat at 2 Mosley Road, Ikoyi. The Vice President also has a 2-bedroom flat at the popular Redemption Camp along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway and a 2-bedroom mortgaged property in Bedford, England. Aside from these, the Vice President has no other landed properties on the form.

"Apart from his law firm, known as SimmonsCooper, the Vice-President also declared shareholding in six private companies based in Lagos, including Octogenerium Ltd., Windsor Grant Ltd., Tarapolsa, Vistorion Ltd., Aviva Ltd. and MTN Nigeria.

"His personal vehicles are one Infinity 4-Wheel Drive SUV, one Mercedes Benz and a Prado Jeep.




"As soon as the CCB is through with the process, the documents will be released to the Nigerian public and people can see for themselves," Mr Shehu said.
